Renowned trainer Ian Balding from Kingsclere recalls the people involved in horse racing and his days training Mill Reef, the 1971 Derby winner.

18th October 2007 Graham Dennis ‘Pamber Forest’
Though the wolves no longer roam, the King’s hunting forest survives as a SSSI maintained by Hampshire Woodlands Trust with Graham's help.

Using film and photograph, Chris will show us how this important local factory developed from making steam vehicles in 1898 through to tank carriers in WWII.

We meet in North Waltham School Hall at 8pm on the third Thursday of most months. Annual membership is £6 per person or £12 per family. Visitors are welcome for a £2 donation. Students are free. Come and learn more about local history!
